Each photo depicting staged quotidian scenes of Japanese life. Includes images of farmers, the marketplace, temples, priests and labourers. Bounded between two inlayed and gilt painted lacquer boards. Photos possibly from the studio of S. Ogawa, Yokohama
each image approximately 10.6" x 8.3" — 27 x 21 cm.
