In 1970, David Deutsch and Patrick Hogan, along with John Alberty, were named the Contemporary Art Council new talent award winners, by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (Los Angeles, USA).
Deutsch and Hogan, and their Los Angeles contemporaries would exhibit a number of times together before Hogan’s death in 1988.
